Syrian civil war and a nation victim of politics
Oppressed people who suffer the most are again the victim of the ongoing conflict which was complicated by global powers in Syria. Syrian people, who are fleeing the battle because of some politic accounts which compound the battles nowadays, are suffering from every kind of trouble likewise the people who host them in neighbor countries.
It is doubtful that these conflicts which are complicated by global powers for some imperial projects and placed on some sensitive balances will come to an end.
Especially conflicts depend on regional interests have been changing their way nowadays. When it is considered that ISIS sieged Kobani for months however it left TeL Abyad city center without firing a bullet prompts us to reconsider how complicated is this war.
These attitudes followed by global powers and local groups aggrieve the local people most. No matter which group held the city, Tel Abyad people have grieved a lot which was controlled by first Asad, next FSA then ISIS and now PYD. After every gun battle these poor people go to the wire-mesh fences their sacks on their shoulders and most of them lost their lives either by starvation or by a bullet that is unknown where it comes from.
Even though the ones who go to other countries are regarded lucky, in fact a very severe test also waiting for them. Perhaps they are wandering on the streets in a foreign country without having water and food. Most of them can’t find any possibility of having bath but begging on the streets. These oppressed people fleeing the death in their country turn into living dead moreover a lot of women are being forced to go astray.
Turkey, due to feeling increasingly of heavy toll of prolonged war, has made it difficult to receive refuges in. Turkey is being affected both socially and economically and it has begun to change the social sphere of the cities. A great deal of voters withdrew their support from the government at the election because of receiving so many refugees from Syria.
One of the most affected people by this war in which the only winner is imperial power though, are the ones live at the border cities. They are constantly being affected negative by human trafficking, firm security regulations and random bombs of coalition forces claiming different reasons.
These people who cannot sleep at nights because of fear, they cannot work on their fields which are their only means of living during the days, either. Although it is now harvest time the villagers seem uncomfortable because of the allegations that the border district will be evacuated and given to PYD. This uncomfortableness reached such a degree that some villagers hold up the government’s demand to send the Syrians who are the relatives of some refugees back as an example of the current situation.
Villagers whom are the relatives of the Syrian people live just opposite the border say that they wouldn’t accept any change in the region, adding that their biggest hope is to see the end of this war in which no one benefit else being a victim of it.
Stating that, “every American air raid disturbs and scares us “A.T who is from Zenginova village said that, “Bombs fall so close to us that the children leave the work in the field and go home. Most of them are our relatives who have crossed the border recently; they also feel very uncomfortable about that the region has been given to the PKK’s authority. And we are living at the zero point of the border that we are really being disturbed by American war planes flying over our houses. I want the government bring a solution to this problem.”
“Recently, they had bombed his relatives while crossing the border”, said H.A one of the villagers live in a border village. H.A said that,” My relatives across from the border called us that they are crossing the border but they were all being bombed both by PYD and ISIS. I couldn’t believe my eyes that nothing had I seen before when we went to the border to pick them up. We cannot sleep at nights because of ongoing battle and we are really very worried about people most of whom are our relatives. When we hear a bomb fall on their village we feel it as if the bomb falls on our house here. And as much I perceive I am afraid the fire will get us soon.
M.A who has left all his work to pick his relatives from the border since they piled said that,” I had to leave all my works and I ,too, feel very upset over the allegations being talked nowadays I just want the State to take some steps to cease the battle in our region.”
In short; there is always one grieved in this war which was ignited by imperial countries and some political groups to grab some area in the region, is innocent people that mustn’t be ignored anymore. (ILKHA)
