PKK oppressing villagers in South Kurdistan
It has been reported that PKK has taken 60 villages under its control in Zaho located in South Kurdistan.
PKK has control over approximately 60 villages in Sindiyan town located in Zaho in South Kurdistan.
PKK has named the town as “Heftenin Centre” as they have taken control over it. According to Rudaw news villagers have said they are disturbed with the PKK’s oppressing.
Villagers also said, “PKK oppresses us here and if it was no for the government we would fight them back for this unfairness.”
In the news it was also reported that a commissioner from Batufa region stated that PKK told the villagers that the area is a gift to them from dictator Saddam Hussein.
The commissioner also said that the villagers would no longer cope with the oppressing, “the villagers wanted to fight back several times but we prevented this from happening.” (ILKHA)
