Attack on evacuation convoy in Syria
More than 100 people lost their lives in the bombed attack carried out during the evacuation of civilians from the conflict areas in Syria.
In the attack on Idlib's Fua and Kefreya towns during the evacuation of civilians to Aleppo, it was reported before that 16-people lost their lives but it revealed that this number is currently over 100 dead.
Within the framework of the agreement between the Syrian regime and the opposition on March 29, 2017, the settlement of the four regions, the evacuation of about 5 thousand people consisting of 1,300 soldiers and 3 thousand 700 civilians from Idlib’s Fua and Kefreya township to Aleppo with 50 buses and 30 ambulances has started.
More than 100 people lost their lives and many civilians were wounded in the bombed attack carried out by a bomb-laden vehicle during the evacuations.
Some heavy casualties were brought to the Babul Air border gate opposite the Cilvegözü border gate in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay for treatment in Turkiye. (ILKHA)
