'We would have been able to stop this war'
HUDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu participated in the opening of 'Child Life Center' established by IHH and Qatar humanitarian organization RAF in Reyhanlı district of Hatay.
HUDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu attended to the opening of the ‘Child Life Center’ which established by IHH and RAF, Humanitarian aid institution in Qatar, in Reyhanlı district of Hatay. HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu stated that the war in Syria led to a crisis especially for children and said, “I wish we could make more effort for these children to so they would be orphans.”
With the partnership of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Sheikh Sani Bin Abdullah Humanitarian Service Institution [RAF], the 'Child Life Center' was opened, which was built 2 years ago in Reyhanlı province of Hatay and built as a place where Syrian orphan children can live on 100 acres of land.
Participating to the program as a guest, HUDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu said that the war in Syria led to a catastrophy especially for children.
Yapıcıoğlu thanked the IHH and the Qatar humanitarian aid organization RAF, who worked in the center for Syrian orphan children, said, “On such a beautiful day, it is my honor to address such an elite community. It is a great honor and a source of joy to address such a community at the inauguration of a plant that has been constructed. I would like to thank everyone who helped orchestrate orphans, aid to orphans, pass their hands to orphans. I wish these servants are acceptable in the sight of Allah.”
“I wish we could have done more to keep these children from becoming orphans,” said Yapıcıoğlu and continued as, “We are an Ummah of such a prophet, we are members of such a religion, which described it as a denial of religion, if not to help the orphans, not to feed the poor. We actually give the orphans which is already belong to them. I wish we could give more to orphans. I wish we could do more for our children not to be orphans. We would have been able to stop this war if we could put more effort on it so that it would not last longer than the six years that led to the child becoming orphaned.”
After opening, Yapıcıoğlu examined the sections in the center and received information from the authorities of the IHH. Yapıcıoğlu then met with Syrian orphan children in the center and had a conversation for a while. (İbrahim Koçyiğit - ILKHA)
