Pro-Orphans and IHO-EBRAR reach the Arakanese oppressed
International humanitarian organizations Pro-Orphans and IHO-EBRAR continue their aid to be delivered to Arakanese people with the help of charitable people who support the call that initiated by those associations.
Thousands of Arakanese Muslims who fled from the massacre and genocide in Myanmar, shelter in temporary refugee camps in Bangladesh’s Cox's Bazar and Teknaff cities.
International Help Organization Pro-Orphan and IHO Ebrar charities located in the district have helped Arakanese refugees and orphans in Bangladesh camps.
Cahit Aktaş, International Help Organization Pro-Orphan volunteer representatives in Cologne, Canada volunteer representatives Sedat Aktaş and IHO Ebrar volunteer representatives Zülküf Bildirici, while organizing clothes aid to Arakanese in the camps, stated that their aid will continue with the support of the direction of the philanthropist.
A large number of Arakanese Muslim lost their lives after the attacks carried out by Myanmar army and Buddhist gangs since August 25th. The number of civilians who lost their lives cannot be determined precisely due to the area closed to entrance and exit. More than 200 villages were destroyed by the army and gangs during the recent attacks. Over 500 thousand Arakan refugees fled from the Arakan region of Myanmar because of the violence.
84 percent of the nearly 2 million Arakanese Muslims in Myanmar who have been subjected to ethnic cleansing since the 1970s have had to take refuge in neighboring countries.
