'We need to form an atmosphere of love together'
Syrian scholars who said that the recent attacks against the Syrian immigrants are the cause of unrest said that rumors should not be heard.
Syrian scholars who came together in a workshop held in Şanlıurfa on the provocative rhetoric and the increase of attacks on the Syrian immigrants evaluated the events that happened.
Syrian scholars, who point out that the provocative actions towards immigrants are not independent of the events in the Islamic world, have invited the people to be common sense.
Sheikh Muhammad Shah Kutbeddin al-Hamidi, a member of the Şanlıurfa Assembly-i Shar'i who spoke to ILKHA on the subject, said that rumors should not be heard.
El Hamidi, “I think that the rumors that cause the flame fire to unrest should not be heard. I live in Urfa. I am walking on Urfa’s street and bazaar. We have not suffered any attack or any offense, it is not happening. What I want here and what I wish is not to be heeded to this rumors and unrest.”
“We live together and we are in the joy of living together”
El-Hamidi, expressing that they are friends with the people in Turkiye and that such problems are temporary, continued as follows:
“We live in harmony here. While we live in harmony, we have rights as human beings, as Muslims, on each other. And we have to respect these rights. Especially here, we must not listen to the rumors. This land we live on now, this country is ours. We will protect it. We are brothers with the people of Turkiye. We think these problems are temporary and we live together and we are in the joy of living together.”
Urfa Scholars Branch Officer Muhammad Abdulhamid pointed out that the only goal of those who make these provocations is to dismantle the ummah and to destroy the ummah. “In recent days and during the last period, Turkiye is wanted to be included in a great plot and a great unrest. These evil forces who want to dismantle and demolish the ummah now want to destroy Turkiye with the aim of putting Turkiye on the target boards, surrounding it over the Syrian issue and destroying the ummah completely.” Abdulhamid, also stated that the Syrians need to be informed and conscious.
