Armed fight in Diyarbakır: 2 dead
Two people were killed in a fight between two groups during the vote in the Çermik district of Diyarbakır and two others were injured.
During the voting in the province of Çermik in Diyarbakır, father and son lost their lives in an armed fight between relatives, two other people were injured.
According to the information, in Yabanardı [Miyalan] village which is 28 kilometres away from Diyarbakır's Çermik district a fight took place in the yard of school where ballots were established for the election. The fight soon turned into a gunfight.
Father Abdullah Yıldız and son Şeyhmus Yıldız lost their lives in the armed conflict. Idris Yıldız and a person whose name could not be learned were injured in the conflict and taken to the Siverek State Hospital by ambulance and treated.
While the gendarmerie took extensive security measures in the village, an investigation into the incident was launched. (ILKHA)
